I went out with my cousin today to do a bunch of stuff for the wedding and we stopped at a little coffee stand down the road. I am completely addicted to Starbuck’s, everything else tastes muddy and gross to me, but the coffee at the little place is like $.50 less per drink and they have a punch card where if you buy 3, you get the 4th free. Factor THAT in and the drinks are way cheaper so I’m trying to force myself to drink them.

Anyway, when I pulled the punch card out from underneath my car visor, I noticed three others there too…all from coffee stands. That got me thinking about all the customer loyalty club type things I participate in. I sometimes splurge on things that I think are worth it (good quality shoes, hand bags, hair cuts), but in general I love to save money.

My personal favorite rewards program is for the movie theater. I go to the movies quite a bit, so I rack up points quickly there. I get a lot of free movie tickets, sodas, popcorn, etc. and it really does save a ton of cash.

So I started talking to my roomie about it and I cracked my wallet to see what kinds of punch card/membership card/rewards program stuff I had in there. Here’s what I came across, in addition to the three coffee stand punch cards. It’s a little bit insane.

See what I mean? Oh my GOD. It’s a wonder I have room for anything else in my wallet. Would it kill someone to invent a card that would keep track of all of these rewards programs? PLEASE. I beg of you. Wouldn’t that be cool?

And kinda speaking of movies, I went and saw the new Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. I actually liked it better than the first one. It was good stuff.

I just got home from running around all day…we went to Costco to get drinks and stuff for the wedding, to the bridal shop to pick up one of the bridesmaid’s shoes and some shawls, to the cake place to finish paying it, to a hardware store to pick up tubs to put the drinks IN and to the caterer to pay the balance there as well. Geez.

I told one of my friends today that if I EVER mentioned thinking about getting married, I wanted him to slap me. He said, “I have two words for you. e and lope.” haha

Ok, so I ended up taking Saturday night off just so I could get my head together and not end up doing calls I actually DESERVED bad feedback for just because I was all pissy. Sorry to those of you who got my email and then tried to call and couldn’t get a hold of me. I couldn’t help it, I needed to get fucked! A good pussy pounding always makes me feel better. On my way home yesterday, I drove around all over the place with my cousin. The wedding is this Saturday, can you believe it?
