Whew! Good news, bad news…what do you want first?
Ok, good news first I suppose. I got my new camera!! YAY! Thanks to my Aussie hottie who really helped me out and sent me some cash so I could go pick it up. You ROCK!
I got a great deal from a guy on Craig’s List. He lived in what was probably a 5 million dollar house. It’s a Canon Rebel 35 mm SLR so the lenses that I have for my digital Rebel SLR will fit it too.
I went in to the school today to get some help with the camera and advice on the first assignment. It was really great. There was no one else there and I got a lot of hints on the first project. I think I’ll actually end up doing it twice right off the bat just because I want to make sure I get some good shots.
Alright, now for the bad news. MY LAPTOP DIED! Ok, well I’m not 100% sure that it’s totally dead. It’s giving me a totally weird error message about something I’ve never heard of though so I have to take it in. I know I need a new one for school anyway, something much lighter and a lot more powerful…I just can’t afford it right about now.
So there’s my good news and bad news. I don’t have any plans for tomorrow as of yet, so I’ll probably be around and taking calls.
