Ahhh sweet disappointment.
Saturday I went to see the new movie “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.”
Unfortunately, I was disappointed by this movie. I feel that it lacked the drama and suspense of the previous four movies (which I loved) and just generally seemed like an unnecessary segue between the last movie and the next. My cousin agreed with me, thought it was too long and just not exciting and her man fell asleep! I really don’t even feel that stoked about the next one…I won’t feel the need to buy the book to see what happens next or anything. I’m sure I will watch the next movie, but the series has lost its magic for me.
In other news, I spent all day yesterday out in nature! Well, as much nature as you can find in So. Cal anyway. My poor little feet hurt by the time we got back. I jumped in the shower as soon as I got home and then made a call…I needed a foot massage. So I went to the boy’s house for some R&R and some slap and tickle. Wow, did I really just write that? Who says that?! HAHAHA I had worked like 14 days in a row (6 days where I was signed in for at least 10 hrs.) so I went ahead and let myself take a full day off. We got high, munched unhealthy food and fucked and it was great. He’s moving this week and his place was a wreck but we’re not together anymore so I don’t have to help! Woohoo!
Nose back to the ol’ grindstone today though! I got home about an hour ago and am already signed in. Here’s to hopin’ I’m busy.
