Knocked Up…the movie, not me!!
Hello, hello everyone! Sorry it’s been so long since I updated, again. I had a perfectly awesome weekend which included being with someone when they won money and having the boy come spend the night at my house. That had only happened one other time since we started dating, so that was a good thing! Sunday morning we made love (yes, it’s still amazing between us and I’m writing another story about it), went to breakfast and then hung out outside before he had to leave. It was great.
After he left, my cousin and I went to the movies to see “Knocked Up.” I’m pretty sure it’s the funniest movie I’ve ever seen. I admit that I can sometimes have a fairly juvenile sense of humor and that a lot of the jokes were a bit on the immature side, but I laughed out loud countless times. I made Erin go see it yesterday and when we talked about it on the phone, she originally said, “It was ok,” and then spent the next half hour cracking up about lines we both remembered! Yahoo critics give it an A- and user reviews put it at a B+. I know tons of people read this blog and I often ask for comments, but please please please, if you’ve seen this movie, put your favorite scene or line in a comment!! My favorite is probably the part where they are in the hotel room and he’s shoving his hand in his mouth and says, “Tastes like a rainbow!” HAH! That whole scene was so true too, the guy whining about “Why can’t I just accept her love?” What guy doesn’t think that? Lord.
Anyway, go see it! It was fuckin’ hilarious. I just watched the trailer and there is some stuff I don’t remember from seeing it so either there are scenes in the trailer that didn’t get into the movie or I was laughing so hard that I missed them! I’m going to see it again with the boy tonight so I won’t be on and taking calls. We’re gonna go out to dinner and stuff too, which is a major step for him. He’s very much a homebody.
In other news, I’ve decided to go back to school for photography. Yeah, I already went to college, but I just don’t want to or know how to put my degree to work so I’m going to a community college tomorrow with my transcripts to see what classes I can take there to prepare to go back to the university for a BA in photography. There should only be a few classes that I need, but the only “art” class I took before was ceramics, so I’m sure there will be a few. I might be taking a full course load this Fall! Crazy, huh? I just got to thinking and decided that I’d rather do something a bit more in depth than the certificate class I was thinking about. I might as well, right? I mean, I have the luxury of this amazing job where I have a flexible schedule and make great money…I’d be a fool not to take advantage of it. When I told the boy, he said “Are you sure you have time for that?” and I said, “Well, I don’t have to take a full load.” and he said, “I know for a fact that you can take a full load.” heheh ok yeah, I already told you that my sense of humor is childish!
I got up this morning at 6:45!! I got woken up by something and just couldn’t get back to sleep. I needed to get up a bit early anyway because I’m going to a school thing with one of my friends (her daughter is in a little play) and then I have to go get my nails done and get my hair trimmed before heading to the boy’s house. It’s weird to see 7 in the morning!!
I will be on tomorrow taking calls, hope you all miss and love and wait for me! haha
