whew, here’s a recap of my week
So not ONE person contributed to my request for money for a new car stereo. That makes me feel a bit unloved even though I’m sure it’s my fault. I’ve been a lot more distant lately than I should to be expecting favors like that. I’m having a lot of fun in real life and I wouldn’t trade it for the world, but it’s come at a price for my callers.
I went ahead and got the stereo anyway. I spent a bit more than I wanted to, but it was definitely worth it. I got a keyless entry/alarm too. I’ve never owned a car where you had to actually insert the key into the lock and turn it to unlock the car and I wasn’t about to start now! 
I got a new stereo/faceplate and 4 new speakers. When I first turned it on and up, I was definitely disappointed with the level of sound I could achieve before it started sounding fuzzy and muffled. The guy at the stereo place showed me how if I wanted it louder, I’d need to get an amp. I don’t feel like dropping the extra cash right now and I guess the more I listen to it, the more I realize that it’s really loud enough as it is anyway.
So I got the stereo on Wed. and on Thurs. I spent the night with the boy. I had planned to work that night after he went to sleep, but he surprised me and stayed up past midnight! We are NOT getting back together, but that was definitely one of the best visits we’ve ever had. We were talking online before I went to his place and he told me that he’d NEVER given a girl a facial in his life. Of course I immediately offered to fulfill that fantasy for him and even went a step further and told him he could record it. He ended up chickening out on taping it but definitely let it fly all over my face at the end of the night…it was great. I guess no matter what happens, he’ll always remember me now! hahah
Erin had a small personal crisis that prompted me to tell her to come down here this weekend so she could get her mind off of things. On Friday we went to a small local bar that had a cover band to unwind. We ended up meeting up with this guy that I’d never gone out with before but who wanted to go out with me…and some other dude came onto Erin at the bar so we were a cozy little foursome. Too bad Erin didn’t like the dude and we had to ditch him! lol
I rarely drink but I got completely wasted that night. The guy ended up driving us home in my car (after a stop for some food, of course) and we ate at my place before we went back to the bar to get HIS car and he drove me home. That meant that my car was still down at the bar, but my roomie took me to get it the next day.
At the end of the night, he kissed me and um, let’s just say that he wasn’t good. He alternated between sucking on my upper and lower lips like he was a Hoover or something! It was just weird. It was kind of a passionate kiss and maybe lasted a minute or so, but I never felt his tongue even once! He wanted to take me out yesterday too but I told him I have a cold (which is true actually) and declined. I don’t think I’ll go out with him again.
Sat. night there was potential to hook up with the boy and his best friend, but after a lot of drama and back and forth, it didn’t happen. It ended up being me, Erin, my roomie and another couple of friends hanging out all night. We played Cranium, did some “stuff” and just basically had a good ‘ol time. I didn’t get much sleep and a cold came on so I didn’t take calls at all yesterday. I am feeling a bit better today but don’t be surprised if I sound slightly duck-like when you call!
I ended up spending some time on the phone with the boy that night and we’ve been chatting a bit online too. Like I said, no talk of getting back together, but things have been pretty great betwewen us since I first went back up there almost three weeks ago. It’s more laid back and casual and we’re definitely better friends now that the pressure of a relationship has been removed from the equation.
On an unrelated note, I am completely and utterly addicted to Keebler Club crackers Honey Wheat snack sticks. Holy shit, these things are fucking delicious. If I gain weight in the next few days, I’m totally blaming it on these damn crackers. I can’t stop eating them. Well, I couldn’t stop eating them but now I guess I don’t really have a choice because I ATE THEM ALL!
