I have been spending more time lately not working than working and I’m starting to feel a bit guilty about not being around when some of you want me. I feel disconnected from some of you that I’d felt pretty close to before and I know that you are having to call other girls when you look for me and I’m not around.

I know I shouldn’t feel bad, it’s business…it’s definitely not personal that I’m taking more time to myself and I know it’s not personal that you call other girls when I’m out doing stuff. I guess it’s just weird for me that the overall tone and focus of my life is changing. I’m feeling a lot less stressed out about things and even though my life has been an emotional roller coaster lately, I’m generally happier than I have been for the past couple of years.

I’m skipping the gym today so I can take calls during the day because I’m taking this evening off to go to the movies. I’m going to see “The Number 23″, which is totally freaky cause 23 is MY number. I’ll put a review up tomorrow and let you know what I thought of it.

Oh yeah! Did I tell you all that I got an IPOD? I got a 30 GB white one while I was in Portland cause there’s no tax there. I’m so happy that I did it! OMG, half the time I was ahead of it and knew what was gonna happen and half the time, I had no f’ing idea what was going on. A day later and I still don’t know whether I actually liked it or not. The sniffer said he was gonna read the book cause he liked the movie.

 

I know I haven’t posted much about American Idol this season (like you care), but I am definitely watching it. It’s funny how things change sometimes, isn’t it? So I’m sure you all know that Niteflirt takes a big cut of the money that you pay when you call me…it sucks and I wish they took less, but oh well. They also make us pay to “feature” our listings in the list of available girls. Well, they don’t MAKE us, but if you don’t then a lot of guys never see your listings because the list automatically defaults to show “featured” listings. Unless a guy changes that to look at “top available” or “highest rated”, they’ll never really see yours.

This month has SUCKED. I’ve paid so much money featuring my listing and I’ve gotten WAY less return than I normally have. I just spent $10 featuring my listing in the past hour and didn’t get one call from it. That’s never happened before. So, I’m going to bed in the HOLE. That’s definitely never happened before.

I don’t really know what to say, I guess time just got away from me. My new policy of taking two days a week off has really allowed me to have more of a life than I had last year and I guess that even when I am taking calls, I’m spending less time at my computer and more time on the phone and/or just around the house doing stuff. I’m definitely feeling less stressed and overworked when it comes to my job and that’s a major plus.

I’ve been spending more time hanging out with my roomies and friends. Saturday was fun, we spent the day together shopping and eating and people watching…just generally having a good time. I went somewhere I shouldn’t have that night and that’s all I’ll say about that!

I’ve been hanging out with the guy who took me out for Valentine’s Day a lot more lately.
