What a weekend!
Ok, so power was out until Saturday around 8 pm, so the dinner party was cancelled. Erin came up anyway though and it was awesome! We took calls Friday night and had a great time. We were up until around 5 am so we slept in. When we got up, we decided to take a day to ourselves so we went to lunch and to the movies. We saw “Eragon”, which was ok. It wasn’t anything spectacular, but I’m glad I saw it. Then we did a bit of shopping because I hadn’t had time to get Erin her Christmas present yet and I needed to do that.
We came home and she got ready to head out. My sister and her man and I all rolled that night, so I wasn’t on and only took one call from my Aussie guy sometime in the middle of the night. That was by far the most intense high I’ve ever had in my life. I never get any comments about it from my callers, so I assume that none of you have ever done it. I’m definitely going to have to be careful, this is something I could see wanting to do regularly and we all know that drugs should be an occasional recreational thing if anything.
I’ve been spending a lot of time with my mom, playing games and stuff. Day before yesterday I spent most of the day baking and then yesterday was all about shopping. I spent every penny I had! Oopsie. Not exactly sure what I’m gonna do for money between now and when I get paid next from Niteflirt (around the 10th or so), but I’m sure I’ll figure something out.
I’m spending today at the house just wrapping presents and cleaning up and stuff. The only thing I have to leave for is to go get my nails done. I’m going to a party at my mom’s best friend’s house tomorrow and I want to look nice. I grew up with her two sons but haven’t seen them in almost 10 yrs. It’s going to be weird to see them again! Sunday and Monday I will be home, but not sure about my schedule. I’ll probably sign on at night like usual but maybe just go to sleep slightly earlier on Sunday.
Now here’s some great news! Erin is going to be able to make it back up here for New Years! I am so excited, I can barely even contain myself. I thought for awhile that she wasn’t gonna be able to swing it. She always works Sundays at a community center, but this year they did a thing where people could give up their shifts and someone took hers! So she’ll get here on Friday evening and be staying all the way until Monday. YAY!
I did open gifts that she brought up with her on Friday and I want to say thank you to all of you who sent me something! I appreciate it SO much, it makes me feel so special that you would think of me during this time of year. Here’s a list of things I’ve received so far!

I’ve got a bunch more stuff en route and I’m super excited. I saw something new pop up on the “purchased” side of my Amazon list within the past few days too, that’s so cool!
Anyway, I’m gonna get back to what I was doing (laundry and stuff mostly) and I’ll be signed on in a bit to take calls!
