Happy belated Thanksgiving everyone!
I hope everyone had a great holiday. I haven’t been signed on much because I’ve been hanging out with my family, just enjoying being around them and stuff. So that coupled with an incident that a few of you already know about resulted in me taking a few unscheduled days off. That’s ok though, I had fun and Thanksgiving was great, couldn’t have been better really.
Yesterday we went to a Christmas tree farm and cut down a tree. It was so much fun! My sister and I played hide and seek and splashed in the mud puddles with some of our smaller family members and we had hot chocolate when we got back and decorated the house.
Today I’m going to go to the movies (to see Deja Vu) and do a little shopping with my sister. I’ve already gotten quite a bit done, but I definitely have more left than I’ve accomplished. It’s so cold here, I’m gonna have to do some shopping for myself too! lol I have warm clothes that I brought with me, but every year it just overwhelms me and I feel dumb that I didn’t remember how many layers I actually do need to stay warm. I swear I thought my poor little nose was gonna fall off yesterday!
I talked to Erin for a few hours last night and she’s definitely coming up here for a dinner party that we’re throwing on the 16th. We will be available for calls and she’ll also be bringing up everything that’s in the mail box. So, if you’re planning to send me a Christmas present, pretty much the only way I’ll get it by Christmas is if you send it to arrive in Portland before the 15th. Otherwise I’m sure I’ll see her at New Years too, but it’s not quite the same, is it?
I am going to go through my Amazon list and add some stuff as soon as I post this entry. It seems like whenever I add things, they quickly become unavailable and then my list gets small again! Just so you know though, I have NOT put anything on there that I don’t personally want. I’m not using it as a “re-gifting” center, so you can feel confident that if it’s there, I will actually use it.
