Having fun is fun….and I should do it more often.
So I took last night off and went out to dinner with my cousin and some of our friends, then came back to the house and played dominoes. I logged on briefly around 1 to check email and stuff, but didn’t take any calls. It was nice to get a break.
Today I woke up to a phone call from other friends asking me to go to breakfast with them, so I did. It’s always fun to try and get good service to a party of eight! Then I had an errand to run, so I talked my cousin into going shopping with me. I hadn’t just “gone shopping” in awhile and I’d just picked up a new shirt the day before (ok, I hadn’t really gone shopping for that, had just run into a store after the movie cause I saw a shirt I wanted in the window) and I wanted a new pair of pants or a skirt to go with it for next weekend.
We ended up walking around the ENTIRE mall and buying things at like 10 stores! Oopsie. I just couldn’t help myself. I did some Christmas shopping, bought birthday presents for Erin and then a bunch of stuff for myself! I got some new clothes, a new purse, a new pair of shoes and a pair of fluffy socks that I couldn’t resist.
Speaking of Christmas shopping, I know that some of you are probably wondering when I’m heading up to Vancouver for Christmas. I think what I’m going to do is just bring all of my stuff with me when I go to Portland and then take a train up to Vancouver after her party. So once I leave, I will probably not be coming home to Cali at all.
Tonight I’ll probably be watching tv, playing dominoes and maybe cleaning my room a bit and organizing my closet…so if I’m not around on IM, but I’m showing as available on Niteflirt, please feel free to call and interrupt me! I’d probably love a break!
