Maybe I should try that more often!
The night I posted that pity part entry, a lot of my guys came out of the woodwork to console me. I almost feel bad…kinda like I guilted them into calling, but I can’t quite feel THAT bad. I really meant what I said! I still mean it, actually. I’m feeling a bit lost and unloved. I never expected to go on vacation and come back to half of my callers. It’s rough to have spent so much money on the trip and then come back and not be able to recoup. Luckily, October was the best I’d ever had for daily income (it was incredible because of a financial domination guy I got), but I didn’t work for very long during it!
I think I’m going to have my entire site redone to try and shake things up a bit. I’ve had this one for over a year now and I think it’s time for a change. Is there anything that you’ve seen on another site that you really think I should have? Something you wish I did that I don’t? A section that seems to be missing? If you’d leave a comment here, I’ll take it into consideration when discussing the new site with the designer.
In other news, my roomies and our friends and I are totally addicted to playing Mexican Train. So if you see that I’m available for calls but am not at my computer, that’s probably why. I’m probably down in the kitchen playing it with them. To me, it’s one of the few games that is the perfect blend of luck AND skill. I hate games that are all luck, I suck at them. All skill are fun, but not as many people like to play them and there’s a lack of exhilaration that comes when there’s an element of luck.
I’m going out this Saturday night with my roomie and some friends. Out to dinner and then probably dancing. It should be fun, it’s been awhile since we’ve all gone out. Actually, now that I think about it, I don’t think that she’s gone out with me since the baby was born in March! That’s just crazy!
Then Thursday I’m going out with a guy that I haven’t seen since February. I’m going to spend the night with him on the beach and then I’m heading up to Portland to help Erin celebrate her birthday! It was yesterday, but her and her friends are having two parties in one…a fake bachelorette party combined with a sex toy party and Erin’s birthday. So she gets to be the bachelorette! That should be so much fun, I can’t wait.

We decided on the phone that this guy will hereby be referred to in my blog as “creative guy”. He saw my sad lil entry and called me with a quickness as well. It made me so happy! I absolutely LOVE your calls and how creative you are, even on the fly like that yesterday. Thanks so much, you made me feel a lot better.

I wouldn’t worry about a slowdown following your vacation. If there are 2 gas stations in town, with one selling top-notch, high-octane stuff, and the other watery crap, if the high-test dealer goes on holiday, the townsfolk have to buy the watery crap. Once they run that out of their tanks, they’ll be back for the good stuff.
You’re completely right, of course! How silly was I to freak out like that? It looks like things are back to normal…I just didn’t expect it to take 2 weeks! I should have known better. Thanks to everyone who told me that they tried other girls while I was gone and they just didn’t do it for them like I do!
