Great day!

I saw a preview for the new Spiderman movie too. It’s not coming out until NEXT MAY! Is it really necessary to have trailers a full YEAR before the movie? Gimme a break!
I came home and took a nice refreshing swim before heading to my room to catch up on some email and write this journal entry.
I don’t even know why I’m typing this…seems like every time I talk about making a recording in my journal, it never happens. But yesterday I had quite a number of insanely hot tease and denial calls and if I get in the right mood, I’m going to try to do a recording of it.

You’re right. Napoleon Dynamite is one of the worst movies ever made. I didn’t laugh once throughout the whole thing. It was just a lame attempt to try and get some sort of ‘odd’ Rushmore, Royal Tenenbaums-vibe, and it failed miserably.
And the new Superman… well, it was okay (like I said on the phone), but too long, and my whole problem with Superman is that he’s too invincible. Only Kryptonite can harm him, so you know he’ll get out of any situation he gets in.
Napoleon Dynamite is genius in my opinion.
I can totally see how it is a film that you either love or hate and if you don’t love it, then there’s nothing to say to make you do so.
I think it all boils down to whether or not you actually knew the type of people in the movie or not. I grew up in a teeny tiny town and there were lots of guys like Napoleon.
I actually like that the kid did not go all super all of the sudden. If you remember, he apologized for what he did after they were locked in the storage room. Here’s a five year old kid who is very quiet and he has no idea if what he did was right or wrong.
I have two kids and I though it rang very true to what I have observed with mine.
As far as telling him…what good would that have done him at that moment? A child that young would not really comprehend what that means. If they make another movie then I am sure it will be dealt with.
